The Allied Maker Pre-Production Coordinator is a role that is integral to our team. He or she coordinates pre-production by indexing parts and logging them in our in-house inventory system. You will work closely with our Production Manager to ensure the correct items are moving at the correct speed through production. You will also be an ally to Assemblers to ensure the right things are making it through the production process for orders. You will be reporting low inventory to the Inventory Manager to ensure all inventory holds the amount needed for Production. You will be a liaison between all departments; Design, Scheduling, Finishing, Fabrication, Assembly and Shipping.

Your responsibilities include
Overseeing the condition of arriving or departing fabricated parts as a means of ensuring quality and quantity
Organizing, maintaining and refilling parts when low
Creating labels indicating fixture parts through the in-house system
Communicating with all departments to deliver specific parts of high importance
Using production sheets to organize the correct part through to production
Retrieving stock parts and compiling trays based on a weekly production queue
Delivering trays to in-house finishing department daily
Coordination outsourced finish applications
Updating production system current status
Active monitoring of inventory stock (manual checks and inventory app)
Notifying Inventory Manager of low stock and discrepancies
Retrieving parts from warehouse as needed

Our ideal candidate must:
Be excited about the entire production process, actively observing ways in which our systems can be improved to reduce error and increase efficiency
Be a strong collaborator and organized multitasker
Have great attention to detail while inspecting parts for defects as they are pulled for production, able to comprehend what kinds of defects are not acceptable to the final product
Have the ability to dive in and understand the construction of our fixtures, interest in electronics or sculpture is a plus
Be comfortable in a role that flexes with our growing company
Someone with attention to detail who can learn the large catalog of parts we stock
Computer literate enough to navigate inventory and production systems 

Needed:

Physically able to lift 50 lbs.
Excellent physical organization skills experience 
Excellent eye for attention to details
Able to work in a very fast paced environment
Valid drivers license
