The New School, Buildings, Design and Construction Project Manager Full-Time
Performs technical architectural design and construction-related services for a broad range of projects: prepares design documents for small-scale projects; provides layout alternatives to meet program requirements; performs research regarding materials, systems, and furnishings; performs construction administration, including the review of contract documents and submittals; provides written and graphic materials for presentations; monitors and prepares regular reports documenting project budget and schedule compliance for all types of capital projects; acts as liaison and coordinator with design consultants, contractors and multiple user and community groups.

Requirements: A minimum of five years’ experience practicing architecture, construction or a related professional discipline; demonstrable skills in project management, organization, writing, mediation and negotiation; familiarity with construction codes and regulations, a degree in architecture, engineering or construction management.
