The Senior Designer/Art Director will work with the sales and marketing team to bring client activation ideas to life through proposals (inspiration boards, mock-ups) and production design. The role may also be tasked with creating brand and consumer marketing campaigns for consumer and industry events. The primary focus of the role will be U.S. Properties including NYFW and MADE but with crossover to global fashion properties as well. The position is full-time with a salary based on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, design and manage a range of 360° campaigns across digital, social and print
  • Create vision and content strategy for the brand(s); develop concepts to continually
  • Develop creative across multiple fashion brands at once
  • Oversee all elements of campaigns/projects from developing concepts, creating mood boards, designing assets, managing their production, and recaps
  • Assists in developing brand style guidelines and visual identity
  • Create well-designed and well-concepted decks supporting the sales and marketing team
  • Translate business/marketing objectives into designs that are clear, visually exciting, easy to understand and contribute to the evolution of the brand image
  • Work with Project Managers to execute projects to meet established schedules – this especially applies to global fashion week events
  • Create sophisticated mock-ups translating an idea into a realistic visual representation
  • Follow current industry trends in fashion and culture and how they translate to content and design

Become a resource for the team on trends ranging from fashion, artists/photographers, art installations, pop-up retail shops, share

Qualifications:
• Degree in a Graphics, Design, or Fine Arts field
• 7+ years of experience in a fashion/beauty/luxury agency or in-house environment
• Has a personal passion for digging deep into creative projects under pressure
• Fast – creating decks quickly is essential
• Well-organized and great at planning ahead (needs to be very capable of working on multiple global projects at once)
• Skilled at brainstorming and not afraid to come up with some over-the-top ideas
• Discerning, brand-sensitive eye for art direction
• Team player and loves collaboration
• Proficiency with Adobe CC, web experience, 3D rendering not necessary but a plus
