Looking for a motivated entry-level applicant to work directly with the owner/creative director two days per week to have a hand in managing sales, production, quality control and general logistics. This person would have the opportunity take part in a small and rapidly growing furniture company and get to understand the inner-workings of the design, production, sales and marketing parts of furniture design.
Sales/Production Assistant will help liaise with retailers, clients, showrooms, and factories as well as working with the creative director to coordinate development of new products. Possibility of other project-based work as it arises.
Must be fluent in: Adobe Creative Suite, Apple Keynote, Google Docs, Mircosoft Office Suite
Must be: positive, a self-starter, very organized, have an interest in the furniture design world and a general understanding of the design process, quick to pick up new skills.
This is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience with every aspect of the relaunch of an iconic designer, as well as experience in the furniture design / manufacturing, and growing a small brand from the ground up.
Rate based on experience, open to paid internship applicants if you have the right skills and interest.
