bde, a boutique public relations, communications and marketing agency that works with internationally-renowned brands in the fields of design, lifestyle and luxury is seeking a creative, passionate and self-motivated Senior Social Content Manager with excellent communication skills to lead and manage social media marketing campaigns for clients both B2B and B2C.

The Senior Social Content Manager will lead the social media and content department in creating and executing innovative strategies for clients across social media, email marketing, influencer partnerships, digital advertising and more.

Responsibilities of Role:

Content Development

  • Write creative, channel-specific content for select clients on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Houzz and more
  • Develop aesthetically-appealing, on brand graphics for client campaigns
  • Oversee influencer partnerships
  • Curate user generated content for select clients’ social media accounts

Strategy & Operations

  • Develop multi-platform social and digital initiatives for clients in the design, lifestyle and luxury space
  • Collaborate with the PR team to create integrated strategies that encompass paid, owned, earned and human media
  • Oversee brand strategies for content calendars, community management and digital marketing budgets
  • Perform digital audits and provide consulting expertise to in-house client teams
  • Serve as lead client contact for digital offerings
  • Analyze analytics reports to pinpoint key insights, make strategic recommendations and identify areas for growth
  • Oversee briefs for photo and video shoots and manage freelancers when necessary
  • Track client-related industry news & monitor competitors’ content to create campaigns that exceed industry standards across channels
  • Lead and mentor 2+ direct reports on the social and content team
  • Promote awareness of social and digital best practices and industry news across channels to the bde team
  • Streamline and optimize social and digital processes to establish effective workflow with clients and the PR team

New Business Development

  • Create new social and digital opportunities with existing clients
  • Work closely with bde CEO and Directors on the marketing and branding of bde
  • Identify & develop new business prospects, including research, proposals and support in the pitch process
  • Attend industry workshops, conferences, meetups, etc. on an ongoing basis to represent bde and further knowledge of the industry

Expectations:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in social & digital media at an agency or brand
  • Aesthetic eye with knowledge of graphic design programs including Photoshop & InDesign
  • Drive to grow the social and content department and bde
  • Strong leadership and time management skills & experience managing a team
  • Strategic, proactive and creative thinking
  • Exceptional writing skills
  • Meticulous dedication to detail & strong organization skills
  • Constant self-education about clients, as well as the design industry and digital landscape
  • Dedication to the company, the team and the clients we serve
  • An interest in modern design, art, and culture
